Why did I decide to put up a business website as well as a blog you might ask? Well, I felt it important to have a business website to showcase what my business can do for potential clients within reach of my services. However, as I thought about all my years of experience I realized that I had a lot to say that could be helpful to people who might never actually hire me. Thus, my blog was born.
I also felt my blog was a creative outlet to have fun with. I love when I am asked questions and knowing I can help someone feel a little more comfortable tackling a project. I can't think of a time when people I am with find out I am a designer that someone doesn't have a question. This past weekend we were in the Texas hill country on a bus to Fredericksburg and a young woman began quizzing me about flooring options.
